Great 100 yr old hotel w very spacious higher end rooms. Bathroom was very nice. Wished the restaurant & bar was open though. Town beign revitalized. Worth a second trip!

The room was quite large and clean. The property was quiet. The housekeeping staff was quiet. The front desk staff was polite. The only nitpick things I can come up with is that there were mouse droppings on the outside window ledge and the shower water draining seemed to make water back up into the bathtub. I enjoyed the old world charm.

My Favorite Place to Stay
It’s always a great stay at The Carlton. It’s clean, the rooms are very spacious and the staff are always welcoming and friendly. After discovering this gem it’s the only place I stay. It’s in walking distance to restaurants and there’s a delicious homemade ice shop directly across the street. You can’t go wrong at The Carlton.

The property in all other ways look spotless, the room was beautiful, however my wife found two false eyelashes left in behind on the shower stall shelf by prior occupants, made for a an ewwwww moment and left us with a gross impression.
