A delightful surprise

I like everything about this hotel. It has been maintained well, the room is very spacious, comfortable bed, quiet, great price. I was only going to stay for the night and liked it so much I booked it for 3 more.

Poor construction, bar/restaurant closed. No complimentary water. No art on the walls? My floor literally had pencil marks from construction and open wall spacing between the door jamb. The electrical panel fell off when the elevator door closed. the shampoo provided damaged my hair and made it unbridgeable. Why is this place so expensive?!

It was so loud, they started doing heavy construction work at 8am which was on top of my room where my 7 year old was sleeping. There was no furniture in the room other than one side table pushed against the wall. That same wall had dirty scratching marks all over it. There wasn’t even a bed skirt on the bed. The room was barren, not at all what’s advertised.

Fraudulent misrepresentation

Complete fraudulent misrepresentation by the Carlton hotel. Instead of Booking the beautiful classic rooms, we were given completely different rooms of green slimy color, bare rooms, exposed boxspring. It felt we stayed at a cheap motel. And the colors are from the horror movies. Apparently they failed to mention that they have been doing renovations. Do not stay. New owners ruined the classic hotel. Look at photos. What we booked and what we got.
