Enjoyed our stay at Fireside Inn in Morro Bay. The facility was safe, comfortable and clean. The staff was delightful, helpful and friendly. We'd stay here again without any question. However, I would prefer NOT to stay in the same room abutting the electrical equipment room (104) which had a slight continuous buzzing noise from the buildings water heater system. It wasn't unpleasant just constant and it in fact didn't impair our great night of blissful sleep. We definitely would recommend spending your time here!

Mediocre in Morro

It appears there are dozens of similar motels in Morro Bay to choose from. This one lacks towel racks in the bathroom and no closets, with not a single hangar for your clothes. The furniture is worn out and falling apart. It's ok for a night or two but don't expect much. On the plus side, saw hummingbirds from the room's small balcony. Low occupancy meant plenty of parking.
