An Interesting Hotel

The good… location, comfortable beds, size of room. The bad… The room was very noisy, from the traffic on the street to being able to hear the couple above us having s** above us for 20 minutes in the middle of the night (the bed sounded like sawing). The room was quite bright and the window coverings need to be thicker. The tile was very slick. The room needed a deep cleaning, there was a coat of dust on the ceiling fan. The room had an odd smell and the room needs updated, unscratched furniture.

Enjoyed our stay at Fireside Inn in Morro Bay. The facility was safe, comfortable and clean. The staff was delightful, helpful and friendly. We'd stay here again without any question. However, I would prefer NOT to stay in the same room abutting the electrical equipment room (104) which had a slight continuous buzzing noise from the buildings water heater system. It wasn't unpleasant just constant and it in fact didn't impair our great night of blissful sleep. We definitely would recommend spending your time here!
