Great stay in Atascadero
The front counter folks were friendly, competent, and funny! When I was offered waters for my wife and I, he responded to my comment that I'd prefer something a little stronger, he smiled and suggested egg nog with rum! I love folks with a good sense of humor! The stay remainded very positive throughout our 2 days. Thanks to all the good people who made this trip special!

Despite my complaints I liked my stay
I stayed two nights and room was ready when I arrived, but was not serviced while I was there. Trash piled up and towels needed changing. I did like the staff that worked there. I missed breakfast one day because I got down there close to 9:40 and they had run out of food.TV was good, beds and sheets were comfortable. Love the layout of the first floor and that dogs were welcome everywhere. That was a big plus!

Our stay was great, overall a great hotel. However, when checking in I asked for late check out. I was not told about a late check out fee. The next morning staff called me very rude, and asked if I was almost leaving because I was supposed to check out at 11. Very disappointed with her attitude, and demeanor.

They used old used HVAC units in the rooms that protrude from the wall and sound like a car engine is turning on next to your bed. That alone will keep me from ever staying here again. Impossible to have a decent nights sleep with that right next to you. I can’t believe a new hotel would use old run down units. Feels like you’re in a cheap motel, even though everything else is new.
