Everything about The Inn at Morro Bay was great!! The room, the restaurant and staff were all wonderful! The golf course was wonderful too!!

The property was sublimely quiet, especially for a pet friendly hotel, had amazing views and facilities including a pool and hot tub open until 10 p.m., and a fantastic restaurant with a world class view of Morrow Bay and Morrow Rock. The outdoor patio was also amazing with the same incredible bay and harbor views, but could use some additional seating and perhaps fire pits. Very quiet at the South end of town and across from a golf course. We wish we had more time to stay and will absolutely return to this beautiful property when we return to Morrow Bay!

I love this hotel however, the restaurant and bar are disappointing. The restaurant stated it was open until 9 pm however, when we went to dine at 8 o’clock, we were turned away told the kitchen and bar were closed. we had to beg the bartender to serve us a drink. Not too long after we received our cocktails, the bartender told us and other patrons sitting at the bar. If we wanted to finish our conversation, we needed to go to the lobby. I thought that was extremely rude. I’ve worked in the service industry, my whole life, and we would have never treated clients or customers like that. It was clear she was trying to get out of there fast. I have never seen an establishment so rude and rush customers so. One of the reasons we choose this hotel is that it has everything in one spot but if the hotel restaurant and bar have rude employees and close early, what is the point? We will definitely think twice before choosing this hotel again.

I was there for a few days to get away from the city and enjoy a Bayview that I reserved and instead I received a parking lot view and was told if I stand up on my patio I'd see the Bay and they would not change my room because they were sold out... they also said next time book directly with the hotel I'd get better deals...
