The location is the best! The staff was super friendly and very helpful. The guys at the valet always said their good mornings and would welcome us back, They worked hard during check out time due to multiple people leaving around the same time.

The property “looks” pretty. Staff is so-so on the welcoming part and don’t look like they are in a hurry to help out. Was told the room I booked isn’t ready yet, at 6pm, and then asked what time was the check in time that we were given and I said 4pm and we are here 2 hrs past that so our room should be ready! So she tried to put us into a double queen and I said no I booked a higher room and she said well sorry I can’t upgrade you either and I think the hotel just double booked your room type. Then she offered to go check with housekeeping to see what’s going on and magically the room type is ready and available after all. We enter our room and notice multiple bugs crawling in the shower, a few dead flies. Front desk asks what we want done about it if we want the room cleaned again or moved, we said moved so they put us in the room next door. In this new room, the toilet stopped filling up water after a flush so we had to call and ask for maintenance, well the maintenance guy came seemed like he was drunk. The noise from the bar across the hotel is very loud.

The absolute WORST hotel experience in 37 years of traveling for business. I have stayed here before and like many things about the hotel, however, the front desk staff (with the exception of one) has always been unfriendly and are absolutely unprofessional. We were asked “why do you come back if you have issues here”. We were happy to take ourselves and our clients to a better environment.

Location is right in front of the Pismo Beach Pier. Really convenient place to stay where you can walk along to get a bite to eat. Valet parking only for $30 a day which seems too high. Small pool and bar on rooftop
