Lots of shops nearby. The room was clean and large. Complimentary hot breakfast available daily. The only thing that could have made the stay even better would be if the tvs had streaming capabilities. Everything else was great.

Ayres at it's best!

This establishment is extremely well managed by Senor Carl Holmes, his AGM, Sean, Anna, Head of Housekeeping and her team including Terri, Kelly and Velia. Front Desk has characters amongst it's staff including Sherrina and Alphonse, who are very friendly and receptive to any request made to them including printing maps, best places to eat locally etc.. We had a problem with our room safe and within minutes Head of Maintenance, Robert ,attended, diagnosed the fault and replaced the safe, you can't ask for better. The beds are comfortable and whilst breakfast can be busy, particularly at weekends, it is free and provides a variety of choices including waffle making, toast, cereal, hot and cold drinks and omelettes made freshly to order. If you choose your times, such as when guests have gone to Legoland up the road, the pool area can be yours alone for a few hours and the adjacent gym area appears well equipped. We very much look forward to visiting the Ayres when are next in California and cannot recommend it highly enough.
