Casa Schuck is such a wonderful place! It holds a great story and history, the property is beautiful and welcoming, with perfectly decorated /appointed rooms. Beds are comfy, pretty balcony with French doors that open to gardens, and great views. The most outstanding customer service, they go above and beyond! Only one thing to point out there is no elevator which was not a problem for us, however if you have mobility issues it would be difficult to manoeuvre the property.

A Superb Place to Stay in San Miguel
I can't say enough nice things about Casa Schuck. This place was simply wonderful. It's a beautiful bed & breakfast ("urban hacienda") situated 5 minutes from the central square in San Miguel de Allende. It's minutes from all of the major central town locations. We were greeted by the friendliest hosts and given the tour of the 8-10 bedroom B&B. Each room is decorated differently, and there's a central courtyard with a lovely public "living room" space and dining space located next to it. We stayed in El Sol, which had a small pool located just outside of it. The room was very comfortable and clean. We loved it. Breakfast was cooked and served (to order) each morning accompanied by freshly baked bread, fruit, and coffee/tea/orange juice. There was one morning when we had to leave a little before the official breakfast time to go on a tour, and Gabriel was able to ask the morning cook to come in a few minutes early and prepare a hot meal for us. That was just above and beyond and is a reflection of the kind off outstanding hospitality offered at Casa Schuck. I can't recommend this place highly enough. We will definitely stay there again the next time we visit San Miguel.

Great weekend in a wonderful hotel!
My girlfriend and I spent the weekend in San Miguel de Allende and couldn't have asked for a more comfortable and clean hotel. From the moment I made the reservation I was contacted by a representative who welcomed me and asked if there was anything I needed to ensure I had a great time during our stay. When we arrived we were greeted by a friendly staff who went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our time. The room was immaculate as far as cleanliness and we were fortunate to have a room with a wonderful view of the town center. I would like to provide additional positive feedback for Alex, Gabriel and Alejandra for their exceptional customer service and for providing information about the area. Again, the entire experience from customer service to room cleanliness to the variety and quality of breakfast options exceeded my expectations. This is the only place I would stay during future visits to San Miguel de Allende. Thank you very much for the great experience and hospitality!!

We had a terrible experience at this hotel to begin with there wasn't any room service they did not have a restaurant you couldn't find anything to eat or drink after 10 AM second of all they don't except payments through Expedia , The room description is inaccurate , The price wasn't the same as Expedia we where Charged more at hotel than Expedia rate , they have no parking for guest we almost got ran over when we unloaded our baggage on the side of the road , it's very unsafe .

Perfect spot in SMA
We really enjoyed our stay - Alejandra and the entire team could not have been more helpful and friendly! The room was clean and well-furnished (and others we could see looked beautiful too); clean linens; wine in the room; breakfasts were delicious and plentiful; the courtyard and the upper deck were great for relaxing. And the location is very close to town and the restaurants but quiet. We'll stay here again.

The most beautiful and luxurious “Bed & Breakfast” we have ever stayed in! The garden is serene with a gorgeous old tree, the art work and furniture is in perfect harmony with the surroundings. The lady in charge Alejandra is the most gracious host imaginable. We loved our stay!

One of the most beautiful and comfortable hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The staff are wonderful, the breakfasts are delicious, and the location is perfect for touring San Miguel de Allende. My daughter and I stayed with them for a week in February 2020, and could not have had a better time.

This bed and breakfast was beautiful! We loved our room, beautifully adorned -the bed was extremely comfortable. It was quiet , spacious and lots of natural light. The grounds itself are beautiful with lots of different terraces and seating areas. Some shaded and some in the sun. Excellent places to view the sunset in the early evening. The only negative was the size of the pool. It was more of a wading pool rather than one to swim in. It was nonetheless beautiful and lots of great spaces to sit outside and visit or read. Great location as well. Staff were amazing and very helpful. When our flight was changed, they were already aware of it and called ahead to let our driver know we were going to need a different time for pick up back to the airport. The breakfast in the morning were delicious and rather than a typical buffet that you might expect out of B and B, we were handed a menu. Everything was absolutely delicious!

A gem!
Casa Schuck was a last minute find on Hotels.com after there were complications with my Guanajuato city visit. I’m happy that happened because otherwise I would not have ended up here. It’s centrally located— an easy walk to the fabulous Cumpanio bakery and the Jardin. The rooms are beautiful, each unique and some with private terraces. The colors are brilliant, inside and outside — red-oranges, purples, yellows — and the cobalt blue pool. ( Too cold to swim in now for me but other guests took daily dips.) The breakfasts have menu choices and are tasty— for night owls like me breakfast until 10:30 am was a blessing. But perhaps the very best part of my stay was the wonderful people who work here: Alejandra, Cecilia, and Alvaro They made me feel as if Casa Schuck was my own home. I wish! My only disappointment was that at the last minute my husband had to stay in the U. S. However, after seeing my photos and hearing my description, he wants to come to Casa Schuck with me next year. Hooray!

We loved this bed and breakfast! We stayed in the El Sol room, which is right in front of the pool, so the pool is practically part of the room because as soon as you open the french doors of the room you are basically on the steps to go inside the pool. This was great for us since the hotel was not fully booked and we still had privacy. The room was perfect and the ceilings were actually higher than we expected, based on the photos they did not seem as high, so that was great it made the room feel bigger. We did get in the pool during our last day and as others have warned, it is not heated, it is very cold but you can get used to it once you are inside. We went in early September so the heat of the sun was still hot enough to make the cold dip in the pool worth it! Breakfast was delicious as well, the dining room was very nicely decorated and it was nice to get to know the other couples that were staying at the hotel. The staff was very nice and attentive. We were there for a wedding so when we arrived at night the doors were locked from the lobby, but we just had to knock to go in. The view from the rooftop terrace is amazing, you can see the main church from there and take some great photos. The hotel is conveniently located and walking distance to the main attractions. We definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in a unique bed and breakfast in SMA.

Overall first class experience, staff very attentive to all your needs, very friendly and helpful. The rooms are uniquely decorated, breakfast was very tasty!, the walk to local sites not far, but expect to walk on uneven grounds ( cobblestone throughout).
