Great for close to airport

We stayed here one night to be close to the airport. For the price, it was great. Nice room and nice property and we ate lunch and dinner in the restaurant area. The lobby and pool area are nice and spacious. Staff is friendly too. Not much in the neighborhood but a great place for 1 night before our flight.

Convenient if you need a night stay from or to the airport. If you’re trying to take in the sites then this place is a bit out of the way from all of that. You’re welcome to try any of the many coconut vendors on the street if interested

For back packers or on a budget

It was a unique experience—the hut. The room was barely larger than the bed, with a sliding door as its entrance. Outside, there was an open toilet and a shower tucked behind it, enclosed by a bamboo fence. The pool sat right in front. For fifty bucks, just a short distance from the airport and a place to rest for five hours, it wasn’t a bad deal. The reception area and entrance showcased an eclectic mix of cars, antique collectibles, and curiosities—fascinating, to say the least. However, what I walked into was nothing like what had been described or shown online. I didn’t mind, given the short stay and proximity to the airport. For budget travelers and backpackers, why not?

Great place

Nicest desk staff. We don’t really speak Spanish but Fernando helped us out with a car rental problem. Gracias Fernando. Great hotel right next to the airport. AC is good, there’s hot water (wait 1/2 minutes). The included breakfast is really good. The restaurant is open until very late (02:00am), which was perfect because we arrived on a late flight. Bed is comfortable.

The hotel is build around one main purpose - help travelers to catch early morning flights - and it does it really well. The location is perfect, they have a shuttle and their own car rental business, the breakfast starts at 5:30 am, they are actually staffed at night. The rest - yes, the rooms are basic, dark, cheap - if it matters for you - just look for a different place.

This hotel is good for the budget traveler who needs a place to sleep because of the proximity to the airport. The first time I stayed I was assigned a room in the main building which was adequate since I arrived at 9pm and just needed a place for the night. A week later I stayed there to drop someone off at the airport and was given accommodation in the very small (8x8 ft approx.) one room shed-like structures that only had a bed and small night table. It was clean and comfortable, but my baggage had to be placed on the floor because there was no closet, dresser, or luggage rack. The shower and bathroom were located outside the unit with shower curtains and no doors, and you need to go outside in order to access them. The shower assigned to my unit did not drain and I didn't use because it looked like it was connected into the same line as the toilet. I explained to desk, and they didn’t offer an alternative. No shower that night. The location is great, the service fair.

Overall, my stayed was okay, but as far as interacting with employees, they seem a little tense, a little serious with no enthusiasm when interacting with guests, they seem bother when you ask them certain questions like, for example, I went to the restaurant in the hotel and asked for a typical dish from El Salvador. And they told me that they couldn't cook that dish at the moment, which I was kinda like, uh? I didn't understand because that's the main dish of El Salvador is called pupusas. So they recommend me to go down the street to a restaurant. And then the noise it was pretty loud. The walls are thin and you hear everyone dragging their luggages down the hallways as they come from the airport, so yeah. The price was fair for what you get. Every guest that I saw interacting with employee seemed very nice, very cordial. But the employees seem real, serious and upset. I can guarantee if they would change their attitude towards guest this hotel will thrive.
