Nice property, terrible room

Had an overnight stay at Las Magnolias after a week in El Tunco. The staff was great! The courtyard and pool were quaint and beautiful and the breakfast was good. My room, however, was awful. I had a room with no windows, no decor and smelled like mold. I honestly felt like I was in a prison with just blank walls and no window or natural light. When I walked around the property, most rooms appeared to have a window, but mine was awful. If you get placed in the rooms near the front desk, ask for a room change.

Close to everything and just across from the mall.

Nice hotel with friendly staff staff. Just across the mall and plenty of local and international restaurant around the vicinity. Breakfast was good, my only negative comment is on my second night when I was sleeping I felt something crawling into my arm and I t was a cockroach.

Staff was amazing! Free breakfast was delicious. I stayed in two different rooms, both were clean and tidy. AC worked well in both. Free internet was fast and reliable. Showers only had cold water. I would stay there again. Walking distance to a three story mall and other attractions.

They need to upgrade their property entrance since it’s very tiny with a small outside place And rooms are very big but in quality it’s very bad. Shower heads are dirty and the water dispenser was dirty too.

Great location and staff

Lovely stay at Magnolias with good beds, AC, and breakfast. Some of the rooms have been upgraded and all are clean. Our room was more rustic with high beam ceilings and a cute table and chairs on our patio.

Good stay in nice location

We Booked business room with balcony, garden access. Unfortunately we received ‘standard room’ we have been advised all rooms are standard and ‘we can open window to see the garden’ We had a clean room and nice breakfast and hateful staff when we needed. Watch out for the restaurant next door as my friend got food poisoning - assume not part of this hotel. Overall good stay.
