Very clean property. The fire pit is a nice touch and the lobby is very quaint. Our room was simple in terms of furnishings but I appreciated the microwave and fridge. I’d stay here again.

Our stay was overall okay. The inn is very old so you can hear the people in the room above you very easily. The people above us were very loud untill well after midnight. Floors are very creaky and not well insulated for sound. Bed were very small but comfortable for a one night stay. Good location near shops and coffee shops and restaurants. I would stay here again in an upstairs room with a king bed.

We loved the room. We chose a fireplace room with small patio. Front desk very friendly. Room had frig, microwave and small coffeemaker. The room got very hot though. Turned off fireplace and heat totally before bedtime but still was very warm. No thermometer in room. Don’t go to Lilly’s for breakfast. Food was good but flies everywhere. I had to fan my food with one hand while I ate with the other. Then the cook saw me and asked if I was bothered by flies and I suggested he get electronic fly catcher and all he said was he had ants all over the kitchen!!

Good enough but not what i paid for
Booked room because of proximity to hearst castle. Booked the deluxe room for the fireplace. Although they allow service dogs, they didnt stipulate on the listing that they only have 4 possible rooms that allow service dogs and the deluxe room is NOT 1 of them. They gave me a smaller room but i did not get a discount for the price paid. Our room was nice except that the fridge was loud when it kicked on and woke us most of the night. BE AWARE that if you have a service dog, you can only get into 1 of 4 possible rooms on the site. The staff is very friendly and the town is so small its easy to relax. Unfortunately, that will be our last time at this hotel. Next time we are in the area we will stay somewhere else.

Property was an older motor lodge that has been kept up very nice. The room wasn't flashy but it was clean and comfortable. The staff was very nice and accommodating. I feel it was worth the price and am very satisfied.
