We had the best stay and hope to stay here again. It was so nice watching the sun set from right there. A beach is right across the street. We loved going to see the seals north of the hotel. Jack at the front desk was a gem.

Very pleased and exactly what we wanted. Peaceful and relaxing. Room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Relaxed on the front lawn in the big chairs, enjoyed friendly conversation around the fire pit with fellow travelers. The boardwalk, tide pools and beach are right across the road. Great restaurants close by. The cookies waiting for us in the room were delicious and the coffee in the breakfast room was surprisingly good. Did not use the pool this time but it was clean and inviting and plenty of nice beach towels available in the lobby. Lobby staff were friendly and check in/out was easy breezy. We have stayed in Cambria several times before, first time staying at Castle Inn. We will definitely stay here again, and the price for the area was better than most.

Our stay was fantastic. The pool was at perfect temperature. The in-room refrigerator kept our drinks very cold. The bed was very comfortable. I will definitely stay there again when I’m in the area.

This is a lovely inn. The staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. The outdoor facilities - jacuzzi, pool, fire pit, seating to view the bay, BBQ and grassy areas were well maintained and inviting. Many of the other guests with whom we spoke had been coming to the inn for many years and that speaks volumes.

Cambria is a beautiful place. I have been vacationing there for over a decade. I have stayed at multiple inns and Castle Inn is a decent option if one wants to keep costs down. It’s not posh like some of the other inns along the beach; I have stayed at several of the more expensive ones. This is my second stay with Castle Inn. Both time, the check in was smooth and the gentlemen that helped were great. My first stay, I booked a larger room and if you can afford it, book the bigger room. This time, I must have booked a smaller room. It was too small for my liking. It was in the corner of the building, next to the room with supplies etc. so the cleaning crew walked back and forth often and there was a lot of noise. It was also dark and I couldn’t leave the curtain open because the cleaning crew walked back and forth a lot. This time, I was on the 1st floor so the noise from upstairs was a bit loud as well. Having said that, Castle Inn serves a decent breakfast in the morning so this helps with cost if saving money matters. The cleaning staff is friendly and helpful. The front desk always courteous and kind. There is a pool, jacuzzi and a fireplace with ample seating all over. The property is kept well and the beach with its lovely boardwalk Is right across the street.
