Beautiful large room with nice bathroom! Nice hot tub with very steamy steam room is a welcome free touch to help relax! Beds and pillows were firm but not uncomfortably hard or flat (which seems to be the standard for the West Coast!). Room was fairly quiet, and food in town was only a short drive. Very convenient for a morning tour at Hearst Castle!

Went for an anniversary stay-cation, and loved it. Beautiful, clean room with a fireplace. Cute boutique hotel with nice helpful staff too. Easy access to Moonstone beach boardwalk. Will definitely be coming back.

Poor hotel resort on every level

The customer service from all staff members was a D! There were excuses daily! We checked out a day early! I’m waiting for a refund for 1 nights stay. I asked for management to call me and haven’t heard from anyone!! Poor!!! Do not stay at this hotel resort!

Pet friendly. Friendly staff. Comfortable beds. We were missing a window covering from one our windows and had to use a towel for privacy and light block light. There was also a small ant infestation in our room. Probably from previous guests food crumbs. Not a dealbreaker, but woke up to ants crawling around us in the middle of the night. Luckily, they were non biting ants.

Beautiful location. 5 minute easy walk on boardwalk path to the beach. 10 minutes to Hearst Castle. Great shops and food options in Cambria. Linn’s shop’s & restaurant is a MUST! Room was nice and the bed so comfortable! It would be nice to have a folding luggage stand as the “closet” is small.

Our overnight stay at El Colibri was great! My husband and I loved it. It was quiet, intimate and located right off the Pacific Ocean, where a short stroll took us to the beautiful beach. Walking into the hotel, we were greeted by friendly staff, and didn’t even have to wait for our room which was ready for us to check in to even though we arrived 45 min early. Our room was perfect, clean and the view was very accommodating overlooking a wooded area. We could even hear the waves not too far in the distance which instantly instilled peace and relaxation. The bathroom was super clean and had all the amenities. The only thing we could complain about was the water pressure of the shower. It took a long time to rinse all the conditioner out of my hair, and my hubby usually prefers a stronger flow as well. Our bed was very comfortable, such that I didn’t miss my own bed at home. Loved having the fireplace on at night, and hearing the waves crashing in the distance. I didn’t have a hard time falling asleep at all. In the morning we had Starbucks coffee that was supplied in our room, and we were quite satisfied with the grab-and-go continental breakfast items provided in the lobby. We splurged on dinner at Madeline’s Restaurant in town, which was amazing as well, so we weren’t expecting to have an elaborate breakfast anyway lol The best part of our stay had to be the Signature Spa Treatment!! Linden was amazing and we couldn’t say enough about the experience she gave us. ❤️

I loved my stay here. I think it’s my new go-to. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Beautiful location and room. They have a direct pathway that leads you straight to the beach. I can’t hype this place enough.
