The shower had black mould. There were no hangers to hang clothes on. There was no safe. Sometimes the towels had stains. The breakfast was limited to eggs, sausages, OJ and coffee/tea every day. Loei Village Hotel
It is a basic hotel at a reasonable price. The bed is thai style hard. The room was spacious but virtually no sound isolation from the hallway. Something on the breakfast menu gave me food poisoning for 10 days, so be careful.

Forra Hill Resort
Easy check in, 200 baht key deposit. Very friendly helpful staff. My special request was granted, thank you. Room very dusty, furniture aged and unstable. The room was much smaller than I have stayed in before. Could use coffee maker. All round it was a great stay.

Beautiful natural setting. Accommodation was a quaint bungalow with a comfy bed and good a/c. Bathroom could be improved upon and interior of bungalow looked a little worn and could be updated. A small chair and a table in the room would be a plus as well.
