Avalon Inn was perfect for our trip to Cedar Point. The room had some cosmetic issues, but it was very clean and cold. The staff was friendly, cleaned our room and refreshed our towels. I would stay here again, if we decide to make the trip back to Sandusky.

A very good place to stay on a budget if planning to visit Cedar Point, as it’s located not far from the park. About a 10 minute drive. So very convenient. Staff was very friendly. Definitely would stay there again if I go back.

No frills cheap hotel the rooms are clean but dated. The owner and staff are amazing every time I stay here. The pool area while plane is nice the water was clean and cool on a hot day. Can’t wait to stay here again you can’t beat the price

I was very impressed with hotel Avalon. I was kinda worried when I booked as it was the cheapest cost in the area, however everything was better than expected by far. The room was very clean and the pool was really nice and clean. Don't go in expecting a 4 star hotel but for a 2 star hotel it is extremely nice. Definitely will be staying again as it is also extremely close to cedar point.

Great place to stay to be close enough to the park and yet not burn a hole in your pocket. Nice place to sleep, but not really up to date. It has an off ‘old’ smell to it, the TV reception and WiFi weren’t really great, and the breakfast is a small selection of store bought small donuts and muffins. But if you want a safe place to sleep on a budget that’s close to Cedar Point, this is for you. I would stay again.
