Management had an issue with house keeping which caused house keeping to do a work slow down. People arrived for the stay at 5 pm and were told there were no clean rooms. I arrived at 7 and they had to shuffle around rooms and the room they were givIng me was done and just needed a blanket. The desk manager looked at a staff memeber and told her she had an extra blanket on the cart and put it in the room she just assigned me. Five minutes later she came back and said it was done. When we got into the room, the beds were sloppily made and there was food leftover in fridge. Under the soap holder in the bath, there was a layer of soap scum and what appeared to be the start of mold. We had a long day just checked in and knew it wasnt worth arguing. Next day couple had same experience. Room not ready and the one given was dirty with towels on floor. Were given another room that was lIke ours... not clean. Due to third party booking there was nothing the hotel would,/"could" do.
They need an audit of the staff. Main manager left there to do an 11-7 at another property and didn't resolve the issues at the first. Continental breakfast was worse than most. No butter for toast or waffles. Was supposed to be till 10, staff pulled everything at 930. To boot coffee in lobby was cold...definate do not stay. Some of this sounds bitter, but when its adveetised and you pay for a clean room and breakfast til 10 at the least it should be provided
