Enjoyable place to stay in Sandwich and it’s in walking distance of the glass museum and old Sandwich. Nice rooms and grounds. Luckily, as shorter people we found the steps to allow us to get into the very tall four poster bed which all part of a traditional New England inn. The Tavern and the breakfast room are part of the original iinn where Webster Highly Recommended.

Room was as advertised. Large comfortable suite with sitting area. Gas fireplace worked well and provided ambiance as well as taking the chill off following the days adventures. Whirlpool tub was clean and fit two of us to relax. Tub was too noisy to run so we opted to use it as a soaking tub. Bathroom was large and clean. It did have some issues with finish lines due to poor installation but no functional problems noted. Onsite restaurant and tavern were convenient and staff were very polite in both the tavern and restaurant. Our food and drinks were good with nothing standing out good or bad. Front desk staff was very friendly and efficient during check-in and check-out. Definitely would return.

The beautiful Daniel Webster is the perfect Inn. Our check-in and service by the staff was just right. We were particularly impressed by David who helped us with questions. Our room was large, comfortable and beautiful. Having the dining/tavern right there made for convenience and coziness. The Inn is conveniently located in the picture perfect town of Sandwich. We will definitely book there again.

Considering the money we spent for 3 nights at this property, I would say it is average at best, mainly because of our room. The bed was quite uncomfortable and so high that you could barely get in it. And I'm 6ft tall. The sound of the a/c going on and off was also incredibly loud and we also had issues just turning on the shower each day. I realize this place is over 300 years old and recently re-opened but again for the money spent, I expected better. Despite all that we had a fantastic time in Sandwich and the surrounding area. Best part about the Inn was its pool and hot tub. And the staff is very friendly and accommodating. 5 stars on that.

This was the most quaint property I’ve ever stayed at. The rooms were large and lovely with updated bathrooms, a fireplace and quintessential Cape Cod decor. The property itself was in a cute little area of town and had beautiful landscaping. If you’re looking for a romantic getaway or even a girls trip (I heard the spa was amazing), look no further. We will definitely be back!

Everything was wonderful. I only have one negative thing to say, that I think could be corrected. There seems to be a bee (bumble) problem at times in the pool area. This is our second year staying on the property, and it was the same last year. Other than that, it would be all 5 stars!

Everything was great except for the continental breakfast which did not have many healthy options. And the hot tub jets were not working. But the grounds and location were beautiful and the staff was friendly. The building itself is historic and charming.
