The location is good. The hotel needs a major overhaul. The walls and ceilings are paper thin and the bathrooms are OLD and pretty awful. There’s a lot of better options in the same area. Also, a day and a half with no hot water was a pretty unfortunate inconvenience.

Property location us great. Walking distance to State Street and Wharf. Sraff us friendly and accomodating. Breakfast buffet is great. However rooms are in dire need of renovations. Beds are lumpy, no free outlets to plug in your electronics. The bathroom...lets not talk about it. Bottomline,we would not stay there again. Too much money for what you get. Motel 6 might be a better bet.

Stay with kids was great. Very helpful and friendly staff, good choice of breakfast meals. The beach and harbor is just across the street, walkable distance to downtown. There are a few downsides: 1) very loud street, impossible to sleep with open windows 2) the room felt very moist 3) the pool was cold, not heated. Otherwise very pleasant stay

The property is obviously in a nice area. However, the room service is over priced and disgusting! The shower barely works and had almost no water pressure. The turf on the balcony and in the hallways is tacky. The staff at the front desk were rude to my girlfriend when her room key wouldn't work. I wouldn't have stayed here if my regular hotel wasn't sold out. In fact we stayed an extra night in Santa Barbara just so we could stay at an actually nice hotel down the street. But even though i don't like this hotel and would never return, it is safe and decent enough if you need a room for 1 or maybe 2 nights.
