Nice property that is right across from the beach. Breakfast selection was really good. Price was high, but so were other properties in the neighborhood. The fact that it was Labor Day weekend probably contributed to this excessive for a motel price.

Beachside inn provides far more spacious amd luxurious rooms than one would expect from the photos. It's beach adjacent and also within walking distance of many major Santa Barbara attractions.

Excellent location just across the street from the boat harbour and within a couple of blocks of both Leadbetter beach (and a beach cafe) and the beginning of the main shopping and eating district of downtown Santa Barbara. While it's a modest motel type hotel, it is clean, well-run with a lovely pool and tasty breakfast service.

The Good: close to the harbor and walking distance to the pier and downtown. Seemed recently renovated. The Bad: horrible mattress and pillows; lumpy and hard. "Happy Hour" was a small shelf by the door with an open bottle of wine and a bowl of grapes. Plastic cups. The dining area was 10 steps away but they chose to keep it by the door and seemed very proud of their "offering". The larger common area where they served breakfast had a bad smell the whole time we were there. Breakfast itself was mid at best. Low effort for the price you're paying. Then, our room was on the end and there was banging on one of the exterior walls directly behind our bed all night. All in all, would not recommend. Much nicer places to be had for the same price or only a little more.
