Definitely would stay again

We had a few issues when we checked in but the staff took care of it all quickly and they were very apologetic. The room was clean and spacious. Very quiet- we slept unbothered with the windows open. Nice breakfast with plenty of courtyard space to enjoy it.

The location of La Playa Inn is perfect and in very close proximity to both beach, Stearn wharf and the main shopping area. Staff was lovely and very helpful, breakfast was included. My only slight criticism would be that the beds were narrower than we had in other hotels and mattresses quite soft. However, everything felt fresh, clean, new and we had a great time.

This place was a little hidden gem in SB !! Within walking distance to the beach and pier just around the corner from state st my partner & I were super pleased with our stay here the hotel was very quiet. We were celebrating a birthday & they gave us a complimentary wine bottle to make it even more special. Overall it was a very pleasant stay.

We paid $600 a night for a weekend in mid July, no pool, no hot tub, no bar. No restaurant. No glass cups or ceramic mugs in the rooms. Aside from adequate cleanliness, there were no premium details of any kind that would make this place stand out. Spend a little more at Mason Beach around the corner and you at least get a pool.

The property was very comfortable, the breakfast pastries were excellent, and the staff was great. We had a wonderful stay overall. The only drawback about the location was the homeless groups in the park across the street.
