I wouldn’t stay again.
The room was run down and the heating did not work, which was needed this time of year. I was on the ground floor near the guest services which was loud until after midnight. There was also a couple screaming at each other outside the room at 4.30am. The room felt exposed as a female traveler, with the front door being close to the street and the window at the back being in the car park. The front bedroom also has a window that faces into an alley. On positive notes, the front desk for check in and check out were great. The bed was clean and valet was convenient.

Pool and hot tub was closed, hotel was dirty and bed/pillows were the most uncomfortable crap in the world, additionally we had a cleaner lady bang at the door at 8 am while we were trying to sleep. Avoid this place at all costs.

Our stay was nice. However, I honestly was a bit disappointed considering the price range of this hotel. For what I paid I expected a little more. The shower is this sort of weird half shower where the door only covers half of it so water gets out. The room has barely any furniture and we upgraded to have the ocean view. Honestly, I kinda wish I stayed somewhere cheaper. I splurged on this excursion hoping it would be a significantly better experience but it was just pretty basic and I'm not impressed. I do want to highlight that the valet and other staff on site were super friendly and helpful. I recommend the hotel doing some upgrading if they want to appeal to people. I've stayed in more impressive motels and thats saying a lot.

I didn't like that our shower had the hot/cold lever switched as the best water pressure was when the lever was turned to hot BUT the hot was cold so I had to turn it to cold. The water pressure, on the cold setting, was not as strong. I have long, thick hair and this made it very difficult to get the shampoo and cream rinse out. Very annoying. I also was not pleased that the description of the hotel stated the there was "parking on site;" however, it did not state that the parking was valet only and $32.00/night. One had to read the "fine print" under amenity details to get that information. The hotel staff and valet young men were awesome. A to them! Overall, too many negatives to stay again for over $300.00/night.

Great location, right across from the beach. Rooms are run down, beds and pillow are horrible. Only good thing are the fire pit hang out areas with wine and s’mores kits.

All of the staff (valets, front desk, house keeping) were very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and ready right when we arrived. Additionally, the hotel and staff were very accommodating and welcoming toward our two dogs. It’s where we will be staying in Santa Barbara on all future visits.

Not a great experience
This hotel looks like it used to be a motel that they converted to this hotel. It's right next to the beach, which is nice, but the rooms are claustrophobic. The lighting is harsh, the sound echoes, and the beds squeak. We asked for a refund as we could not stay there. They showed us other rooms, but they were equally uncomfortable. The staff was very nice but the hotel was not.
