The hotel was under construction so we had to put up with security alarms in the middle of the night. And also, there were vendors playing loud music throughout the night. There wasn’t a warning about that with our location. We didn’t get much sleep during our stay.

Loved it!

Quaint rooms, comfy. Historic building and it’s in a very central location. Convenient to do whatever you want to do on State Street, and also a short walk down to the Stearns Wharf. Definitely recommend!

Great hotel. They are in the middle of a remodel but it’s looking fabulous and didn’t cause any problems. The rooms are beautiful, clean, spacious and comfortable. The location is unbeatable. Right in the middle of everything.

This is the perfect place to stay because of location. It’s quiet, walkable and close to great restaurants and shopping. Everything you need is on State Street even if arriving by train. Tuesday is the market down State street from 3-7. The beach is at the end of the State. Uber is easy and quick. The 90 minute trolly tour is the perfect way to see Santa Barbara. Sandbar across the street from hotel for great Mexican food. The friendly staff were wonderful and even had excellent cookies in the afternoon in the lobby.

Good location. Rooms are really small. Really small. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Hotel is next to a bar which was loud one night of our stays. There was also an event location across the street that played music very loud the same night.

The staff was excellent. Very nice, polite and accomodating. They were very attentive when we brought in the car, with our luggage and very kind overall. My family had a small wedding cake that the team was able to store in the refrigerator until, we needed to bring it to the restaurant.
