Large spacious room and bathroom in a very convenient location. We were supposed to receive a bottle of wine because of our Expedia status, but nothing was mentioned. After we asked for it, they gave us a bottle. The room & bathroom were clean, but the fridge was not. There was food leftover from previous ppl inside the fridge.

Well, I’ve never been in the motel six and this is the very first one there was and they’re independently owned so they very, but this was wonderful that even had a view of the ocean. Oh my goodness in Santa Barbara no less. I brought my chow chow and the staff in guest delight were enamored of her, so that’s always lovely. The hotel was uniformly, freshly painted and appointed and the staff was really gracious. It will definitely be my place to stay in Santa Barbara on my next trip.

Beautiful hotel very close to the beach. Staff was so kind and helpful! Only downsides were the pool isn't heated (it was a chilly day and we wanted to swim but without heating the pool was super cold) and no coffee machine in room (but there was freshly brewed coffee in the lobby). Had a wonderful stay and would def stay again!

The place was fine, but the price for a Motel 6 was ridiculous. Sure, it’s a classic being the first one ever, but it’s still a Motel 6. And the parking was super tight.

Front desk rude

Couldnt get into my room with key. Went back to lobby to "rekey" 3rd time i went back desk lady took my keys and walked out. I asked her if she was gonna try the key, she said "yeah " doesnt tell me or tell me to go with her. She tries the key and opens the door, then leaves. I laughed and said "thank you" (twice) no reply. So i try the key again and cant get in! So i go back and tell her shes rude bc i said thank you twice and she didnt say anything. I askes her to show me how to open. Went back tries the key and she had to forcefully turn the handle. Which i didnt know i had to turn it hard!. Anyways, didnt like her attitude. Coffee was not warm enough after putting creamer.
