This place has so many rules that it is hard to do anything. They even make you sign a document promising you don’t have kids and pets and they keep placing it on your door until you fill it out. Two of the 4 nights we stayed were almost $500 a night. The other two nights were $400. Way too much. It’s a motel 6 in a beautiful area.

Peaceful and refreshing

I love the peace and serenity here. The rooms are not fancy but you get to experience the tranquility of nature and unplug. The patio has the most stunning view of the Topa Topas you could ask for. The breakfast was nice with hot eggs and vegan sausage coissants, bagels, yogurt, fruit, etc. The coffee was nice too but most of all the friends I was with!
Birthday celebration day and night in Ojai! Spa day, play in the evening and Ojai Retreat overnight! It was a fabulous stay! Thank you!

Rustic and quiet

Great service at check in, and nice breakfast! Everything is well maintained, but you can tell everything is a bit aged. Nothing bad at all.. just a bit rustic if you will~ we stayed at the Cozy room (each room has a name) and it had a shared bathroom…which I wasn’t too thrilled about. It stated that before I booked, so I was aware. Just in reality not my preference. The property is pretty, and very quiet which I appreciated. We only stayed one night for a golf thing so we didn’t have too much time to appreciate the grounds~ if you are looking for quiet and rustic and super reasonable price point, highly recommend

The location on high ground overlooking the valley and mountains was outstanding. The quiet was appreciated. Nice rooms and common spaces. We walked around the grounds and saw several little meeting areas.
