This property is at least 75 years old, and is a travelers favorite near the town of Solvang. The rooms have been completely refurbished and are very nice and comfortable. However, the walls are paper thin and conversations in one room are easily heard in the adjoining room. They need to put people in rooms with empties on each side. They have no elevator to the second floor, but they are very upfront about that and encourage guests to select ground floor rooms. The stairwell at one end had extremely poor lighting which is an inexcusable safety hazard. The breakfast was modest but acceptable. The best dinner option is Geogio`s which is a very short walk away. Excellent food and friendly staff. The price at Andersons is very attractive compared to Santa Barbara`s sky high priced rooms. You know your are getting a rustic old fashioned motel, but we would gladly go there again.

The Inn was located right off the 101 and not too far from Solvang. We booked this mainly for the heated pool and jacuzzi which was good in Jan. Also, plenty of parking and pastries in the morning. The only negative is on one side you look at the old rundown restaurant, but that’s it.

Great Hotel to spend time at.
Wonder stay. Very clean and immediately felt comfortable to lay on bed. I will recommend to our friends. I do wish the parking spaces weren't so close to each other. There was little room given in parking lot to maneuver as you leave.

Decent stay for the price. Our room was facing the Main Street so you can hear all the cars driving by. Friendly staff, pool was nice and heated. They offer coffee and danish for breakfast but ran out of danish at 9:30 a.m.

We stayed for 3 nights and the quality of the place was nice. We liked that they had the mini golf and other activities but it's wasn't the mini golf with challenges, they were just straight putts. But it was still unique enough. We had an upstairs room with a shared balcony which was fine. The only thing about the balcony I found annoying is the furniture was not clean. I had to wipe it down to sit outside. Otherwise this place was fine.
