Great stay and great staff
I kept reading bad reviews about this place and I’m not sure why. Very affordable. My room was clean and nice and in a quiet corner. I didn’t feel unsafe at all. The staff is very friendly and I was able to check in quickly and easy.

We were so uncomfortable with the quality of the place for the high price. The furniture was marked with dry paint and food, there was sand furniture dust on the chairs and floors, the bathroom was hastily painted with unfinished areas. I immediately went to the front desk to get a new room. Thankfully a new and improved room was given to us. However, there were no regular pillows only decorative pillows covered with pillowcases! A there was only one set of towels for two of us to.share. It truly was not a high quality location!

Don’t make the same mistake I did!!!
This hotel is a total dive. It was the only affordable hotel in the Santa Barbara area which is the reason I booked it. The whole place is tired and dilapidated. I couldn’t get out of there fast enough!

With a little effort could be a good bargain in SB
Our overall impression was that no one who truly cared visited our room very often. It was budget (for Santa Barbara anyway) priced but no one was trying very hard and it showed.
