Couldn’t see sand but saw lots of ocean. Very walkable area, bus stop to downtown is right there. Restaurant is excellent but lunch options are limited.

The ocean view was unobstructive, room and overall decor was delightful Room, bath and terrace were spacious. Very comfortable for two people. Mostly clean, a few specs on the bathroom floor the vacuum didn't catch. staff excellent in all areas. A few things were off, or it would have been an exceptional stay. I had asked for a room near the elevator and while I was told it could not be guaranteed, my room was the one the farthest from the elevator down two long hallways. Having an ocean view made up somewhat for it despite the pain in my knee from walking. While the room service breakfast was quickly served and delicious, they used paper take away cups for coffee and cheap plastic take away containers for butter, jam and cream. These thoughtless moves could bring the hotel from an excellent to a good rateing by a professional reviewer. Sad.

We are driving down the Pacific Coast Highway from Eastern Washington - 2,000 miles thus far - and of all the hotels we have stayed in along the way … this has been by far the nicest. Room is incredible - very comfortable with lots of space, views of the ocean, friendly/helpful staff etc. ONLY complaint is no body wash in shower - could use more soap & tissues in bathroom

Not much to the actual hotel nowhere really to walk around but room was excellent with lovely view of the Pacific from our ground floor balcony. Great food in their own restaurant. Parking is expensive and quite a long way out from town centre would expect this to be free of charge.

The hotel and its staff were generally excellent, especially the valet team. The hotel restaurant, Convivo, was amazing! The only issue we had was a clogged sink but it was resolved on our second day there.

We had such a wonderful experience at the Santa Barbara Inn! One of the things we loved most was the personal touch—they texted us before our arrival and throughout our stay to make sure everything was perfect. The service felt so thoughtful and attentive. The location couldn’t be better—it’s just steps from the beach, and the beach-view suites are absolutely gorgeous. Waking up to that view made our trip extra special. We can’t wait to come back!
