The renovated room aesthetics were prettty - robes a very nice touch. Good location. Breakfast, tho continental, offered fresh berries, a variety all the way around and it was pleasingly displayed.

Room was small but clean but was unfortunately was marred by the incredibly loud air conditioning units from other rooms. The swimming pool and hot tub were very nice. Good free breakfast and happy hour!

Room stuffy and wall unit air not quite able to reach circulate. Bed very comfortable. Pool, hot tub and beach but no place to hang bathing suits to dry (only two towel rods).

My stay at West Beach Inn was wonderful. Lovely property and pool. Convenient to the beach and shopping district. Friendly and competent staff. Overall Santa Barbara is lovely. I would recommend!

Very pleasant property. Beautifully landscaped. Nice, clean room. With that said, the inn should get out of the 1960s into this century by replacing all of the window air conditioning. They're old, noisy, and inefficient. We stayed in motels like that when I was a kid. For that reason, we won't be back.

I spent two nights having a hard time getting to sleep: the mattress was horrible, old and of bad quality, the pillows either !! How come an expensive hotel do not spend money buying good quality mattress and pillows ??? Also the continental breakfast that they say it is a luxury one … it is just like others hotels !
