Cute Hotel!

Very Quiet Beautiful Hotel! Great Hospitality. They have a wine Night to welcome you. Nice small breakfast. Center to the main street, walking distance. If you have an electric car, there is a charging station in the parking lot directly across from the hotel. It is a slow charger, so you can leave for a few hours while shopping.

Solvang

Solvang is a dutch town in California and Wine Valley Inn was very cozy and clean. Enjoyed our stay.

We stayed just for the day and it was an interesting stay. Early check in was offered at $35 but it wasn’t ready for well after 2 and regular check in time was at 4. Around 6 pm we had a power outrage. None of the windows in our Jr Suite opened so it was terribly hot and uncomfortable. We were not offered a lantern but we saw several other guests with one. We asked where they had obtained theirs and we were told the staff had a few more to customers that needed one. Since it was pitch black, they should have handed those out immediately. The room was a bit disappointing, it was hot and unbearable. Some family was shouting at each other for about 30 minutes, frustrated that they couldn’t eat in the dark. We weren’t able to keep our door opened due to the noise they were making. Finally some time in the night, power was restored and we slept ok. They needed to have a better system in place for when situations like these arise.

Not very impressed with the room(s) - definitely rough around the edges. Refrig cabinet so small that fingers were at risk of getting smashed trying to open the door. Breakfast pretty cheesy - I avoided, my husband ate it. Courteous staff. Wouldn’t stay there again

Weekend away

This is a great hotel. Quaint and cozy. Breakfast was good. The real charm is the village tower rooms. Every room is different and a lot of fun. Very unique. Everything in town is walkable, and the Wine Valley Inn is perfectly located.

Review: The hotel itself is very nice and comparable to others in the area, but I was disappointed with the breakfast. When I booked, the listing described a buffet-style breakfast and even showed photos that looked great. In reality, it was only a continental breakfast, which is not the same. The food quality was poor, and I ended up going elsewhere for breakfast. This was a deciding factor in choosing this hotel over a less expensive option, so it felt misleading. Everything else about the stay was enjoyable, but I do think the description of the breakfast should be updated so future guests know what to expect
