1) Hilton Santa Clara is an aging building that desperately needs major renovation, and together with the poor Staff, management, and Breakfast is a blight on the Hilton Brand 2) $558 for one night room charge for a room that had a broken lock ~ the building has shifted on its foundation so that the door lock doesn’t align with the Door Jamb 3) Breakfast consisted of worst-case watery powered scrambled eggs and little dried-up sausages, with little else in the Buffett to rise above the level of a Motel 6 4) When told about the experiences, the front desk staff and manager showed zero concern and told me I shouldn’t expect any better for $558 for one night…..

We were surprised at the lower quality of the hotel given it's a Hilton. The mattress was a lesser quality than we expected. For the amount we paid you'd think maybe our first 2 bottles of water in the room would be free. There was one bartender in the Lounge that was there after the game that needs to train the other bartenders on how to do their jobs and how to interact with customers. Zero eye contact, too much conversation amongst themselves, and time to get even a glass of water was unbelievable. The bar wasn't even crowded. Overall we were not impressed with this particular "Hilton".
