Two Night Stay at Seacliff Inn in Aptos

This is the first time I've stayed here since it became a Hilton, and I noticed that the rooms had been updated. The property is nicely landscaped. Our daughter's family of five joined us for lunch one day at the onsite restaurant (Sevy's), and everyone was happy with their food. The younger ones particularly enjoyed looking at the koi from the bridge over the large pond after we had ordered our meals.

Was on a business trip & when we started getting ready for an important dinner, we found Ants in our luggage, all over the bed, almost an infestation. Called front desk to move rooms & unfortunately Nick, was very rude and condescending and stated “it’s not a big deal”. We only asked for some to come document so it would be resolved. He continued to provide a rude and honestly disrespectful tone. The Maintence gentleman arrived (and stated that the room was recently fumigated but not very well. Up to that moment the hotel provided impeccable service, Leah at the restaurant was so pleasant & food was amazing. It’s unfortunate that one condescending “night manager” on an Ego trip ruined the entire day & visit. Note: we were scouting for a hotel to hold a conference for 60 people in September for a national brand. They lost a good amount of business.

Great hotel, be careful of the souvenir mugs

Location was perfect for our trip and everyone there was really nice. Five stars all around, but knocked one off because the last night the HVAC system was making a bunch of noise that kept waking us up. Then checking out, I decided to buy one of their coffee mugs and were displayed on the shelf. The lady at the counter did want to go in the back to get me a fresh one because she was alone up front, that’s understandable. But once we got to the next hotel on our road trip, I noticed the mug I was sold had a crack in it and leaks, so I had to throw away the $18 coffee mug. Disappointing.

Rooms very clean, staff was great! We absolutely love how comfortable the place is! My only issue was I thought I booked a room that had alittle more space AND the double bunk beds with a queen or king size bed, so 5 beds in total, and I got a room with only 3 beds. Which I will make do and it will all be fine, just wasn’t what I expected.

Nice property with restaurant on site that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. On this particular Friday, there was live music in the bar which seemed to attract a lot of locals. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Was a bit miffed to be charged $15 for parking! Come on Hilton, I am your paying guest. This is not a high end "resort" property.

Excellent Hotel Stay
