Good place to stay, and not too far of a walk to the boardwalk. The only "complaint" I have is that it costs .25 cents if you want ice. The staff was very nice when I arrived and the room was a good size room also. I would stay there again.

Stayed here over the weekend and had a great experience. The front desk staff were very welcoming upon arrival, and I was even upgraded to a bigger room! A friendly reminder: being kind and respectful to the employees goes a long way. The location is also excellent the boardwalk and downtown area are only about 10–15 minutes walk away. Would recommend!

The room was clean and comfortable; check-in was a breeze. The Drift Inn is located near the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, Downtown Santa Cruz, and the Riverwalk. My only negative is that the towels were a little threadbare.

When we first pulled up we were a little concerned because it looks a little outdated but we were so relieved when we saw how clean it was inside and no carpet was a huge plus ! I would definitely come back

We had an amazing stay! Ankit at the front desk was extremely helpful and hospitable when we booked our hotel visit last minute. I would definitely recommend this inn for anyone looking for a cozy and conveniently located place to stay in downtown Santa Cruz.

First of all the receptionist Ankit is amazing and quite personable! Was able to check in a little early before check in time and got a room upgrade with a separate kitchen and balcony. Room was super clean and location was close to amenities. Will definitely be back!
