This is more like a 'boutique hotel'. It was a great location, clean, easy parking, nice staff, nice rooms and a very decent price...we were really happy with our stay and would definitely go back.

It was a good stay. Room was clean, one panel of the shutters didn’t close correctly letting light in, and no shade to close. (Rm 146). Also, please get rid of the rubber mat in the shower, it’s nasty. Other than that, it’s a convenient place to stay in Santa Cruz

Nice little spot. Affordable. Convenient. Nice nighttime staff. Looked a bit different in person than online. More high end motel than hotel. Sound upstairs traveled downstairs. But honestly a very reasonable, accessible place. Would visit again

There was a little confusion since I don’t normally book reservations with hotels.com. But the staff was patient and the rooms were immaculate. I recommend them and the location was very good.

Wish the receptionist was friendlier !
We got in about 9:30pm and the lobby receptionist was not friendly at all . The room was clean and comfortable , the breakfast was good. Overall okay stay for 1 night .

Solid local choice. 3 stars, in this case, isn't bad. This is a quality motel option. Clean hot tub, solid breakfast. Ambiance in the room is what severely lacks. Cheap feeling floors, rough lighting, fan in the A/C rattled terribly. All this to say, I'd likely stay here again.

Staff was friendly, property was very clean and there was plenty of parking. I read in another review that the boardwalk was walkable from the hotel. No it’s not! Unless you don’t mind walking the hour and a half to get there and another hour and a half to get back. Regardless, I would definitely stay here again.
