The staff was wonderful, so friendly. The property just needs a facelift. The shower was difficult to operate. The bedding had cigarette burns (not from us), and the overall appearance was lacking.

Bed sheets were dirty with stains ! Also the restroom sink was leaking & the tub had a slow drain ! Also the small refrigerator wasn’t working at all !!!!!!!

OK but not great

Many casino hotels are well-maintained, but some are not. Cities of Gold Hotel needs more attention to details and perhaps an overall update compared to our expectations. The bathroom door squeaked loudly and wanted to stay almost-closed; the mini-fridge was old and barely working; the room heat pump could not be adjusted and was obviously rather old. The bed was reasonably comfortable, but the sheets did not seem to fit right. There is no included breakfast despite the presence (next door) of the casino and its restaurant(s) (not sure about them, since we did not use them). Overall, it was satisfactory, but not a "go-to" choice, much like older and unrenovated hotels on the Strip in Las Vegas, and thus less than our expectations.

Rooms could use some updating and there's no breakfast available but it's a cute place overall and restaurants are right nearby. Convenient to local hikes and attractions and very good desk service.

Didn't expect much. Ended up with less.

Bed was fairly comfortable. Room was not clean, hairs in bathroom and the floor hadn't been vacuumed. Hotel is incredibly minimal. The young girl at the front desk couldn't be bothered with anything baring handing you back your cc. The casino down the rod was way nicer my colleagues paid less than I did. Hotel needs to go.

Awful! We wanted to see the room, and they wouldn’t let us. We had our suspicions that it would be old and smelly. We were right!!! Had to get key and keep reservation. We walked into the room and turn around and left. Room Smelled bad, OLD! Outdated!!! Had to call out to get waited on. Nobody to greet us. Horrible Customer Service. Tried to pick a fight with me when I said we refused to stay. Still made us pay for the room. Had to make a separate reservation and pay more money. It was worth it though! Awful Experience All Around!
