Excellent location and some of the staff over the years have been really nice. The room had a mini fridge that made a loud humming noise, a coffee maker that was plugged into a damaged exposed outlet and a shower where you couldn’t turn on the water without being the direct target. Finally, the housekeeping staff began cleaning early morning, yelled back and forth with radios that communicated loudly and were noisy the entire day. Even when complaints were made repeatedly, nothing changed. The El Dorado we concluded is the housekeeping employees home and we were just in the way. I am sorry but this is the second time this year we have stayed at this establishment and both times we have been unhappy. Will no longer book there.

When I got to my room, it was freezing, so I turned the air conditioning up to 72°. It never did heat up… Only cold air was coming out so I turned off the system because it was obviously broke. They said they would bring me up a space heater, but it didn’t show up in a timely manner. I was going to bed. Another time. I was getting ready to take a shower and they said they’d bring up a space heater, but it never showed up so I took a shower without it. I ended up checking out a day early because I didn’t wanna stay in a cold room and I rescheduled my flight to come back home a day early. Still waiting on that refund for the night I didn’t stay.

Great location to the Santa Fe Plaza and shops, as well as fabulous galleries and restaurants. We didn't have the opportunity to enjoy the spa or any of the other amenities, so can't comment on that.

The first morning we were woken up by an 18 wheeler backing into a parking space with beepers on outside our window at 7am for 30 min. After that we were moved to a suite on the top floor with no noise issues. The staff was very accommodating and nice. The property itself is a little bit worn and torn and needs a refresh. The location was amazing and that is basically what we paid for. It is very convenient to the downtown area of Santa Fe. Close to the Plaza.

I booked two rooms… One for myself and one for my niece. My niece said that her roof is leaking. When I checked into my room, it was late on Friday and it was very cold in my room. I turned on the heat but nothing but cold air came out. They said they would send up a space heater, but I just turned off the air conditioning unit and open the door to the hallway so that some warm air could come in. Anyway, I ended up checking out a day early… Just didn’t want to deal with a cold room anymore.
