Great hotel
The property is a beautiful historic building that is very up to date. Our king room was spacious, with a seating area, desk/table and great walk in shower. Excellent service from check in to departure. We had an excellent dinner and drinks in the Ortiz bar. The breakfast buffet wasn’t anything special. Enjoyed sitting by the pool. The location is a short walk to the plaza and lots of places to shop or dine.

So, in fairness, the hotel was less expensive than many of the other hotels in Santa Fe that weekend. It is fairly well-located and has a nice restaurant that comes in handy for a late night meal or glass of wine. However, the rooms are terribly dark--so much so that even with all the available lights on, you have to go into the bathroom to get dressed--let alone put on makeup or do your hair. The rooms are large. But the furniture is dark and heavy and because we were put on the first floor, we had to keep the drapes closed because cars were pulling into and out of parking spaces by my windows. The lobby is very blah. The front of the hotel has some seating but it looks as if it could use rejuvenation. Front desk staff were friendly but, overall, I am surprised that Hilton would keep this place--it is well below their usual standards.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Location is excellent with close access to restaurants and shopping. The service at the hotel restaurant was a bit slower than expected. Maybe understaffed?

Property is historic yet well maintained. Coffee, water and chocolate chip cookies available in the lobby. Bottled water is free and plentiful. Helpful staff gave my husband free distilled water for his CPAP machine. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Would stay there again.

Nice location, good Hilton
Very good location, close to the plaza. Nice, helpful staff. Bartender was a dud, spent more time at the end of the bar laughing with his friends, and ignored customers at the other end of the bar. Off putting but not a major issue. Check in was a breeze, and Adam was friendly and helpful

Beautiful Hotel in ideal location. We had a marvellous stay and the guys in Otiz really looked after us during dinner. The room was lovely, well appointed and spacious bathroom. The only downside is the noise. We could hear people in the hallway. The cleaners also tried to barge in before checkout time and I find this really annoying.

We stayed for the Burning of Zozobra. Great location to walk to the Plaxa and Zozobra . The room was a little outdated for the price and DONT buy from the pantry unless you like paying 3 dollars for a trail mix thats 1 dollar at the gas station

Pretty good hotel.
Very pretty hotel in a good location. We were a little disappointed by the view of nothing but the dumpster from our window. I feel as though we were given the worst room because we booked through an app. The pool area was not at all impressive and needs maintenance. The free coffee and snacks were a nice offering.

Check in was horrible. Was stuck on Sandoval road waiting to pull into the hotel because the check in was so terrible slow. They only had one desk attendant for a very busy check in. So had a wait outside in the vehicle waiting to get off the street and then another wait inside waiting to be helped and checked in. I was then given wrong directions where the entrance to the elevator was.

There was only one issue. Told that the overhead bathroom light did not work (early in stay)….repeatedly [3 times]. It was never corrrected or at least addressed (if it couldn’t be fixed). Otherwise, the establishment was superb.
