There was one word that consistently came to my mind during our stay: charm. The people were charming. Well before our arrival, they had sent a personal welcome text. Not some AI generated crap. Something personal. They responded to my reply within two minutes. Everyone, and I mean everyone, was cheerful. Even the sweet girl at the desk at 5 who had to get up when I took my dog out. She had to unlock the front door. This is an older property. That shouldn’t be confused with worn out or a cheapened experience. Far from it. If you can live outside the modern gestalt of veneer, this proper can take you back to another time. Moreover, the company that owns this property and others, Heritage, seems to intentionally focus on character and humanity. This was evident in all our interactions. A couple of points: didn’t find a ramp from the street level without going through the garage. That may be my issue. The other little thing to know is that the night we were there the onsite restaurant Hawt doesn’t serve pizza. That’s inconvenient. But, there’s lots of other walking distance locations. We will definitely come here again and heartily recommend you stay here. Treat these people nice. Too many self-serving individuals run what is good. We loved it here!

Historic feel to the building. Very close to the central Plaza in Santa Fe, convenient to museums and shops. Would benefit from installing a ramp in front of the building, as wheelchair entrance is hard to find.

Great location and lovely room. The fireplace was great and the coffee in the morning great. It was easy to park and easy to get to the gym at the neighboring hotel. Everything was wonderful.

Hotel Chimayo was the PERFECT place for our stay in Santa Fe. Plus, they have fireplace service on demand; wood burning chimneys in each room, and just text to have them send someone by to start 'er up; brilliant! The location was prime for spending time in downtown Santa Fe, and access to the mountains is just a short drive from the front door. Amazing. Can't wait to go back!

Totally nice experience
Location is the best, half block off of plaza. Parking is no issue; very nice. Room was very comfortable, great bed. Great restaurants within a short walk; the best. Room was very clean and cleaning staff was very competent. Second stay there this year and will be back in the future.

We LOVED this place! Great vibe, cute bar and restaurant. Cheap but really good pizza at Low and Slow. Staff even started a fire for us in our little fireplace. Highly recommend.
