Run down and broken
Staff was very friendly. There were dirty rags in front of our door and trash inside the mini fridge. It made me wonder how well they cleaned since they obviously did not clean the fridge. The whole place has been partially updated (less than half) but the rest was worn down with stains on the walls and tub and sloppy or chipped paint. The bed felt like it was going to collapse when I sat on the foot edge. The deadbolt did not work. It was in pretty bad shape with exception of the lobby. The lobby still needs new carpet on the stairs and lots more upkeep throughout not just for style, but everything was worn out. It was about the level of a cheap motel like the one next door. Aside from the rags and trash, the rest seemed clean. I wish I could leave a better rating since the staff was so nice, but the conditions need a lot of attention. The owner needs to care about the property that they are asking people to pay for. It was cheap but should have been even cheaper for the shape it is in. I visit Santa Fe often and have stayed at several hotels in the area. This was the worst. I will not return unless they continue the upgrades and fix all that is broken.

No fan in the toilet (bad). One light switch for both toilet and hall lights wakes anyone else in the room (bad). No extra lock on door. Room Cleaning knocked on the door at 8am. Put a camera up to see if people have left their room.

The hotel is dated but well kept. The young lady at the front desk was amazing!! Ery helpful for finding locals restaurants!! Very tentative to any extras we needed such as pillows towels ect. Over all a great experience was had by all
