What was good: room was very clean and as in photos. Staff seemed to be very accommodating though I didn’t need anything. I was under impression that the hotel included free parking/ breakfast. Parking was $4/day (?). Not horrible, but unexpected. Breakfast staff were all friendly, but food just standard fare. I would have preferred order from and pay from menu. What was unbearable: 1. The air conditioner in room was horribly loud and woke me every time it kicked on. 2. Room was on street level had NO privacy from parking lot. Spotlight right outside room shone brightly into the room all night! HORRID. Blackout shades did NOT make the problem better or me feel safe. Sleep was difficult. 3. Bed was too soft - woke with back aching. All rooms on parking lot level need some sort of coverage for windows besides a blackout shade: plants/ trees other obstructions from windows— passersby were a mere 1- 21/2 ft from the actual window. ANYONE could break window and come in.

Its very disappointing when the blower only works with cooling on. Blower makes a noise background and blocks sounds from outside of room. Had to maintain 65 degrees to keep blower on. Very inconsiderate settings I"m sure to save money on energy.

Only issue was with the TV-couldn’t get the remote to work. Had to go down to the lobby to get assistance because the phone didn’t work. It was suggested that I point the remote to the ceiling to change channels-that worked!

There is a tire store next door. They have an exterior bell for their phone- every time it rings- it rings outside till someone answers it. Every time- open to close.

My only criticism would be that no rooms were available when I tried to check in, and I asked for a phone call when one became available, and never got a call...but, Hyatt Place is my favorite hotel brand when I'm traveling alone for business. Love the design and decor, and their attention to detail RE: charging ports, etc.
