Breakfast was the highlight of this stay. Found pet policy confusing so know they will charge you a pet fee at the property. Property is charming, room was ok, very dark. If stay again, would upgrade from Casita to super Casita in hopes there was a door separating the bedroom from living room.

This is a super quirky place to stay near downtown Santa Fe! The Front Desk was so welcoming offering us homemade marshmallows and chips upon arrival. We stayed in a studio which had a kitchenette and a fireplace. It was helpful that there were laundry facilities onsite. We enjoyed the comp breakfast the next morning. Parking was free. If you enjoy staying someplace that isn’t cookie-cutter then this is the place for you!

Las Palomas is a hidden gem just a few blocks from the Plaza. Breakfast is yummy, the staff members are helpful and friendly, and the rooms are cozy and quaint. About the only affordable, authentic option left in the heart of the city!

This was our second time to stay at Las Palomas. The staff is great and the location was relatively close to the Plaza. I would not say I would walk there, but it was plenty close to drive. The made-to-order breakfast was really good. You have five meals to pick from each morning which is part of the room rate. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are quiet and clean. I would call and make your reservation directly with the motel. I made our reservations with Expedia and that was a mistake. Thanks for Las Palomas for a great stay.

Just right

My stay was very spiritual. I went to New Mexico not as a tourist I had a true intention to find something that was lost. The hotel was beautiful. The room I stayed in was large and accommodating for my needs. It wasn’t a Ritz experience and that’s not what I was looking for. It was however peaceful and right near everything including museums, parks, restaurants, and other cultural attractions.

They only service rooms every 5th day (we were staying 4 nights), which doesn’t bother me (so long as you can request it more regularly as needed). Upon checkin, I was informed of this, and so after our second night, I went to the lobby to request our room be serviced that day. Only then was I informed that you have to request it a day in advance as well. The furniture in the rooms was very worn (there was a tennis-ball sized hole in the leather of the one chair in the sitting area). All in all, it wasn’t a terrible stay, but for the price, it definitely under-performed.
