I loved the website photos and the price was right. I have had bad experiences with hotels in Santa Fe. We were surprised it was a motel. That is usually a red flag. We did have to change rooms. The first room we checked in to was very rustic and not at all updated. They gave us another room that was perfect and matched what we saw previously on the internet. This trip could hae gone either way. Had a better room not been available, we would not have enjoyed our stay. I will say though the cook at the restaurant is fabulous!!! Eat in!!!

Cool Desert Air Vibes

Elegantly renovated vintage motor court with ample backdrops for photo ops in outdoor spaces, bar lounge and thoughtfully designed rooms. Impeccable staff, jazz band, and the most impressive complimentary breakfast bar. Safe gated parking. Lovely two day stay in a great area close to everything. An elevated experience.

I was a little concerned when I realized this was a spruced up motel. However, it is amazing what a difference some careful thought and design can make! The beds were clean and excellent, the bathroom was pleasant, and the breakfast in the morning was surprisingly excellent. Everyone in our group was unexpectedly impressed and we would definitely return. The rooms could be better lit (windows were small and lighting was sparse). The A/C was a whisper-quiet modern unit with excessively bright lights. These two (minor) niggles were the only actual problems with an otherwise great motel. It’s also well located for Meow Wolf and some of the edgier parts of Santa Fe (despite feeling very safe).

Breakfast was fantastic! And my bed was super comfy. The aesthetic is on point, so many lovely small touches throughout, and the room was quite clean (although I'm not sure how they launder the animal-skin carpet?). Front-desk staff were very kind and attentive, despite not seeming to have much knowledge of the area (if you need an ATM, turns out there's a CVS down the street that has one and will do cash back; you don't need to walk for half an hour). The room (2-Totem) doesn't get much natural light, especially if the front blinds are closed for privacy—some frosted-glass window decals could easily fix that. Overall would stay again!

Great value for the money

Small room (as expected), but comfortable bed, clean bathroom. Don't expect a lot of amenities at this price point, but the breakfast is great with a variety of fresh fruit and better than usual hotel waffles. Only downside was the staff was a little slow to keep the breakfast buffet stocked. Compared to the expensive hotels in town, it was great value for the cost. And Santa Fe is small enough that it wasn't far to get to places we wanted to be.

Booked a deluxe king with sofa bed. Everything - Amazing! Spacious, clean, unique design. They went above and beyond in the common spaces both indoors and outdoors to really extend the stay beyond the room. My preteen loved all the outdoor set up and enjoyed games and fire pit in the evening. Morning- complimentary breakfast is actually fantastic! The staff cares about the breakfast display, greets every customer and responds quickly. Parking is behind a gate and no parking fee!

Wedding event at motel we experienced noise until 2 am. Wedding guests were allowed to park in guests spaces at the property so we could not park get to our assigned space nor to our door. The morning breakfast was delicious. The nite live music on Friday and Saturday was excellent.

Expensive, experior needs work, fine otherwise

Nice place. A little ratty on the outside but my room was quiet, comfortable, and tidy. Good breakfast but why make guests pay for orange juice? It was fine overall, tho $195 a night seemed expensive, given what it is.
