Nice room and good location close enough to the heart of downtown Santa Fe that we could walk there. My only complaint is that the room was advertised to include breakfast, but the day before we were scheduled to arrive, I got notified of a $30 fee for breakfast and historic preservation. I don't mind paying this. But include it in your room price.
Adorable little hotel with beautiful decor! The location is just a few minutes walk from the plaza and all sorts of restaurants and stores. The breakfast was pretty tasty and the wifi was solid. It would be five stars, but I'm removing a star because they charge a $30 resort fee, which is just a way for hotels to deceptively make their rates look lower in search results.
Excellent. Very close to the downtown Plaza and to shopping and dining options. Only hiccups were that the cleaning lady forgot to fully restock our towels; she might have been flustered by our presence while she was cleaning on the one day this occurred. Despite that one oversight, I would gladly stay here again.
Great comfortable rooms in a hotel within easy walking distance of many of Santa Fe’s famous museums, galleries, restaurants and shops. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Liked: Cleanliness, room comfort
Our stay was really nice. We have stayed there before and wanted to go back. This time was different. There is no restaurant or bar anymore. Unfortunately, there is still a daily surcharge to stay there, which is applied for your breakfast, but the breakfast, while a "hot" one, left a lot to be desired, especially for $30 per day. This hotel needs to take a little time to revamp and upgrade a little. Otherwise, we like it, but it will be awhile before we try it again!!
Some renovations were being done but overall it was an excellent stay. Property staff were high tier, from the reception to the housekeepers. Owner should be proud of the team he has.
I’m part of a Hotel Association I notice everything.
When checking in, no one, not the front desk woman or the manager ever acknowledge us. We stood there for over 15 min looking at the manager working in his computer ignoring me 5 feet away. I finally said hello and asked for help. The same manager, male African American, didn’t say hello until the second time and acted like I was bothering him. He ignored me until a woman arrived and gave me a very cold greeting. Nobody ever smiled once the entire checkin.
The 30$ a day “historical fee” was not great. No one said anything about that.
Breakfast wasn’t decent. I’m just glad the guy working was finally nice.
Room was nice.
Wonderful pueblo style rooms. No elevator to upper floors. Difficult to carry luggage up. The breakfast was hands down the best we encountered on entire trip!
I loved the authentic Santa Fe architecture and decor. We walked to the Rail Yard, the cathedral, and downtown square. Breakfast was good and convenient. Overall, it was a great stay.
