Attractive, clean and comfortable, with high-ceilings and local style. The staff were kind and helpful, and let us leave our baggage down in their 'resguardo' until we left for the airport. A great little restaurant on either side. The Oaxaca one had an excellent buffet breakfast (Sats and Suns only), and the fish restaurant on the other side was very good too.

Good hotel for zocalo

Plain simple room. Small bathroom area. AC was great. Room in annex but quieter then elsewhere....very noisy in zocalo on Saturday night...music etc , but not traffic. Good register ration timing......overall good....buffet breakfast good and varied....

Our room was in the annex and not in the main part of the property. The room was quite small and very musty smelling. The air-conditioner was worse than useless. However there was a nice strong ceiling fan that made up for the air-conditioners problem.

The location is perfect. Beds and pillows could use some work. Pretty quiet for the most part except for the occasional kitchen noise, could also do with some black out curtains but the staff is pleasant and the cleaning is superb.

The hotel was located in the center of everything and a short walk to the beach. It was clean and had great water pressure in the shower. The room needs a small fridge and then it would be perfect.

Little bit of a bait and switch... pictures of rooms are accurate but we were moved to Las Palmas, the hotel next door to Maria Mixteca... water wasn’t potable... construction across the street building the Mercado market begins at 7am daily...karaoke bar on the corner is obnoxious, brutally loud with drunks screeching out horrendous versions of songs until 3:30am nightly... Staff and restaurant are fantastic, but the mattresses were very wirey and spring laden.... Super clean though!!
