Unfortunately the wifi did not work at all and when I asked they just said “oh yes it’s not working”, with no explanation or apology. Our shower was also broken and when you turned it on it squirted water in random different directions and soaked the entire bathroom. Again the staff were not bothered and did nothing to fix it or apologise.
The room was okay but doesn’t have a window apart from the door and although it’s new currently, you can see that the room won’t wear well.
We asked for the laundry service and they said it would be ready the following day but it took 2 days which was frustrating.
The food was fine and service in the restaurant bar was good. It’s a short walk to restaurants and bars in Minca so the location is good and it’s on the river which is pleasant.
Cannot understand how it classed as a 4 star hotel. We have been travelling around Colombia for a month and this was probably the most disappointing of our stays.
Maybe go in with lower expectations and you might not be as disappointed.
