The staff was perfect! Nice, clean bathrooms. The breakfast was good. The location is in the Centro so it is easily accessible. I definitely recommend this place.

Perfect location, wonderful outdoor terrace to enjoy the epic Santa Marta breezes, nice complimentary hot breakfast options ... staff was helpful and held our bags behind the desk for a few hours after checkout which was much appreciated.

The hotel is very close to the El parque de los novios, where you could find many restaurants and bars, also the beachfront is very close. I would recomend this hotel.

Nice boutique hotel near the center
We really enjoyed this peaceful place! It was close to everything by walking distance. The sound of the wind and the trees is amazing! We stayed for a couple of nights and had a really good sleep. The staff is amazing. Loved that it was very quiet all the time. Highly recommend it if you are backpacking like we were.

GOOD BUT NOT ENOUGH!
ALTHOUGH THE HUMAN FACTOR OF THE HOTEL SERVICE WAS GREAT, I MUST SAY I WAS DISSAPOINTED WITH A FEW THNGS LIKE THE LINEN, TOWELS, INTERNET, AND TV SERVICE, DURING THE 4 DAYS STAY I HAD THERE, THERE WAS HARDLY ANY TV SERVICE, FUNNY BECAUSE WHEN I LEFT THE HOTEL THE BARS DOWN THE BLOCK HAD THE SAME COMPANY SERVICING THEM AND THEIR TV WAS WORKING PERFECTLY. THE SHEETS WERE VERY OLD AND STAINED. SOME TOWELS HAD EVEN HOLES IN THEM. THEY HAD A JACUZI THAT WAS PERSONALIZED, NICE IDEA, BUT THIS JACUZI HAD COLD WATER WHICH RUINED MY EXPECTATIONS. FIRST COLD WATER JACUZI I SEE IN MY LIFE,

Hotel needsTLC.
Hotel is not located in a very good Street. The towels at the hotel was very dirty and dingy with stains. They did not change the towels on a daily basis. The shower head to the bathroom was filled with some kind of black sludge. The steps leading to the second floor did not have any railings to hold onto while trying to go either up or down.

One of th girls of the reception was so slow and not wanting to help that, that in it self ruin the experience. They cal "hotel Boutique" any house that have a room. This is not a hotel boutique is more like a B&B

A charming botique hotel
We came for one night during our honeymoon and it was perfect for a romantic night in downtown Santa Marta. This hotel was comfortable, tastefully decorated, and mostly quiet. There were nice touches like a cool drink upon arrival, a complimentary hand massage at request (you can pay to have full-body massaages in one of their affiliated hotels a few blocks away), and they got the jacuzzi ready for us to use for a romantic evening on the terrace roof looking out over the city. The jacuzzi could be better--got a lot of bugs in it and was shallow so the high setting on the jets just splashed water everywhere--but it's a pretty little terrace and was a pleasant, romantic experience. Also our room on the first floor was near reception and the door (you have to ring the doorbell to come in and out of hotel) so it wasn't as quiet, but it didn't end up being as much of an issue as I thought it could have been.

Excellent service. They gave me a VIP treatment. The outside of the hotel does not tell much but it is really comfortable place. Small pool and nice and clean room. It would be great to fix a little bit the reception which has still an unfinished appearance i.e. papers and stuff are visible. More decoration also needed.

An excellent home away!
This was a beautiful, unique hotel. The attention to detail and service was on par w/ some of the best. The only complaint I would have is the misleading pictures and description, which were unecessary.. the pool may have been 8' x 8' and just deep enough to wet your feet, the jaquzzi was filled w/ brown water and just as shallow, and the buffet breakfast was actually a made to order pre fixe menu...but more than adequate.

Extremely disappointed
I called and email the hotel and expedia over 2 weeks before my staying and let them know that it would be 2 days shorter and they say that it wouldn't be a problem. When I arrived there I discussed it again with the staff and arrange the price for the 3 nights which I sign for. The disappointed came when during check out the forced me to pay for two more nights which didn't stay. A total of 5 nights after only staying 3. The staff took advantage of the shortness of time for us to be at the airport to pull such of shady move. Also the pool wasn't available as advertised on your site.
