I always stay here when I come to Santa Rosa - which is often, as I need to monitor health issues with trusted medical professionals. The hotel staff is wonderful! For years now it's been the same faces who greet me at the entrance by name. That should tell you about the respect the owners have for their employees. I highly recommend Hotel E. It's location is so convenient to good food, safe to walk at night, and abeautifully restored historically significant building.

The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. The staff was super friendly and helpful with restaurant recommendations. The hotel location is excellent. Walking distance to many restaurants.

I have been coming to this hotel for several years and slowly things seem to be long downhill. On this visit I noticed several amenities no longer being offered, no slippers in the room, no extra pillows or blankets. At the breakfast, no pastries or muffins, and when the coffee ran out it was not replaced. These issues could be overlooked, but not only do the Hotel’s prices continue to climb, but they changed the per night deposit to $100 a night, which I thought was steep for a basically 3 star hotel. When I questioned this I was met with rudeness and hostility by the front desk staff. I usually like to stay at this hotel due to it’s convenient location, I think I will reconsider on my next trip to Santa Rosa.
