The internet didnt work the entirety of our stay. When we first tried, I called the front desk, and they said that the router had been reset an hour before and to keep trying. It never worked, and our TV mostly didn’t work because it was really slow to load and then if we did watch some thing, it would pause every 10 to 15 seconds.

Beautiful historic property that maintains its old charm. If you want all-new cookie cutter furnishings, go elsewhere. This hotel is about uniqueness. Staff are friendly and helpful

The room and hallways smelled musty and old and the property is located across the street from the train station. There are also was not a refriegerator in the room. At checkout, we informed the hotel staff about our stay and were told, "you need to be more assertive." We would not recommend this hotel.

We stayed in the carriage house, so we didn't have a lot of interaction with staff or main building amenities. We loved how easy the parking was, our autonomy and how much was so close and walkable. Also, loved the balcony! Grossman's has amazing breakfast sandwiches, Lococo's Cucina is muah - gustoso - not to mention coffee and many treats near by ... easy noshes and in and out, central location to the rest of Santa Rosa, comfy room ... a perfect pick for us!!

Hotel La Rose is a nice property in a great location in Santa Rosa . I stayed in the carriage house building, which is next-door to the main hotel . It was secure with a locked gate and overall pretty quiet the entire time . The location is great. Walkable to restaurants shoppingand tasting rooms. I would definitely stay here again. Rooms were clean and spacious. No issues with the plumbing this is an older building, but I think they did a nice job keeping it up.

Great location. Easy parking. Walk to everything. The room was comfortable, clean and what you'd expect from a good hotel. However, for this price we'd expect to have no problems. There were three glaring problems: * Light. There was no way to cover the window so there was light at night from the street lights and light from sunup to sundown. Lots of light. * We could not control the heat even though we followed the strange instructions: "For Heat turn on air conditioning fan". Fortunately, it wasn't too cold. * The ceiling slopes, which would be fine except that the bed is on the opposite wall, so you have to duck whenever you walk around the bed.
