The women at the front desk was lovely and she already had the room selected and my name on it because I called after I booked because of a terrible checking experience the night before at a different motel six. It is an older property, but other than disgusting sheets on the bed with two king hairs in them, the room was clean. I walked back to the front desk. She gave me clean sheets, so there was no issue overall. I would stay again for a travel stop for a cheap but overall on option.

When we got there we saw cockroaches, bedbugs and other types of bugs in the office and room. Would not recommend.

The rooms are so dirty. There was urine on the toliet. The beds had hair and smelled like dirty clothes. The matteress was labeled from 1995! There was no microwave even though i paid for one. The smell of smoke was so strong, we smelled like it after. Left at 4am because we couldnt sleep. I didnt have high expectations but this was a new low! DO NOT STAY HERE!

The room had a horrible smell, cigarette burns on the bedspread (suppose to be non- smoking) & pillowcase was dirty, & black hairs in the sink . We slept afew hours & left in the middle of the night. Never again will I select a Motel 8 to stay!

I enjoyed a quiet, uneventful stay at the Motel 6 in Santa Rosa, NM, recently. The room was clean and the bed was sound. There was no mini-fridge in the room, and the shower was small but adequate. The parking lot has a lot of potholes in it, so be careful! This is a budget motel, of course, but the staff was friendly and helpful, and check-in and check-out were quick.

Simple, cheap Hotel for a quick stop-off while traveling. Rooms are old, but in decent condition. Clean Sheets & Towels. Fridge & Microwave in every room. Breakfast items were simple. Nothing fresh. Worth the afford price.

Unfortunately, there was someone else's hair between the sheets, and on my pillow, insects around the toilet and the Fridge had dirt and food embedded in the pull handle. Super nasty. There was hair in the shower and I ended up showering in shower shoes. I was too tired to complain and just stopped taking pics of the filth. There was also a cavernous pot hole to negotiate in the parking lot.

!! BEWARE !! DO NOT STAY HERE. Terrible experience. DIRTY room full of dead AND LIVE bugs - roaches, spiders, etc. Told the staff and the answer was "I only work weekends". No refund provided. BEWARE!!!!
