This was my second stay here, and this time it was a disaster. At check-in, the front desk guy asked if the second floor was okay. I said no, because I’m handicapped. Instead of helping, he slammed his fist on the counter and acted like it was my fault I didn’t put that on my reservation—when there wasn’t even an option to do that. His attitude was aggressive and unprofessional. After driving four hours, I wasn’t about to argue. I told him to just give me the room. Then I got to the room, and it was filthy—dirty sheets and trash left by the last guest. I didn’t even bother going back to complain because the front desk already made it clear they didn’t care about my stay. Bottom line: my experience showed a total lack of respect and poor service.

The manager was very friendly, welcoming and professional! The motel room was well equipped, had a good layout, had several places to sit, including a small round table with chairs as well as a desk with a chair. It was very clean. Not fancy, but perfect for my needs and very comfortable. There were water bottles in the room and several kinds of snack bars. It was in a convenient location. I would definitely stay here again!

The OG of motels

The OG of motels with a little refurbishment, and cleanliness. Room being on the 2nd floor, I kind of liked how convenient it was, with my rental car parked directly below, and within a short distance to a flight of stairs. I had forgotten a few things getting to the car, and was able to quickly get back to the room. The thought of a larger hotel with a lobby and elevator, long hallways to your room, would have been a lot of walking! Since my travel and stay was for work, the room was okay, did its job.

The owner was very impatient and aggressive. He blamed us for waking him to help us check in. Ridiculous! It’s the owner’s responsibility to help the customers check in. How could he blame us?
