We had a wonderful stay at the Astro motel! The place was very clean and had a lovely atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The breakfast was delicious, and the coffee was top-notch. A standout feature was the abundance of fruit trees around the property—you could pick fresh fruit right from the trees, which was such a nice touch. Overall, it’s a quiet, charming spot that I’d definitely recommend for anyone looking to relax and enjoy a peaceful getaway. Highly recommend!

Loved the edible garden and the staff couldn’t be kinder. It’s also close to the Luther Burbank home which was beautiful. The room was very clean and the breakfast was icing on the top. Hands down the BEST granola I’ve ever had! I travel for my medical appointments and this hotel is definitely going to be my go-to. The location is also fantastic.

Been meaning to book this location for some time. The stars aligned and I was back in town and stayed here. Room was big, bathroom was just as big!! Very clean and comfortable. Downside, room that size could benefit from a bigger bed. I get the rustic minimalist approach but with a room that size you need furniture to absorb sound! why you ask? Because there is NO carpet in this room!! I got a 1st floor room that sits on concrete slab. So conversations echoed, it made it feel like we were using "outdoor" voices indoors. Tv sound echos.

Pet friendly get away!
Wonderful place to stay. Was in town for a 4 day dog show and was made to feel very welcome. Room was comfy, amazing bathroom, grounds are lovely and the lounge is amazing! We had wine tasting in the lounge one night and a bonfire the next.

My First Stay
While I appreciated the retro feel, the cold cement floors were not comfortable. Do not stay here without sleep socks or slippers. The mattress was comfortable but the all white comforter meant I was going to get charged an extra cleaning fee since I spent all day at a dog show. It was worth the money BUT the biggest drawback is the parking. I scraped my car - my fault, I guess - because it was so tight. However, the people were lovely and I would stay here again - just not forget my slippers!

The hotel was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly. Breakfast is nothing special, coffee, yogurt, fruit, and granola, which was the best part. This is a no frills motel. Good place to crash for a night or two. The decor was fun & interesting.

The Astro has a very cool aesthetic and great staff! Everything was clean and it was a relaxing place to start and end our day as travellers. We thoroughly enjoyed the 4 days we spent there and all the little bits of history we picked up about the place from the manager and the various books and plaques around the property. Anyone travelling to/through Santa Rosa would be remiss not to give it a shot!

We had a really easy check-in and were able to get up to our room no problem even though we checked in late. The only minor thing is that it was hard to find parking as the overflow lot was also full. Our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The next morning we walked to a great breakfast place just across the street.
