One of the best hotels. All staff members were very helpful and courteous and pleasant. Plenty of space in room and bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was well presented and excellent value. Would recommend this small hotel to anyone wishing to visit Santiago de Compostela. Close to everything.

Fair price bit old and very small room. Has basics air con and a lift. Toiletries can be better. Inclusion of sluppers and toothbrush would be ideal. Staff friendly. Hard product needs to be improved.

This was my second booking with Capitol Boutique and I would book a third time without hesitating. The staff was very helpful accommodating my bike and taxi needs. It is very well located within a walk distance from the cathedral.

This hotel was one of the most chic hotels I've been to. The staff was very pleasant and helpful guiding me throughout the city. The room itself was beautifully decorated and very clean as well. The only complaint I would have is that the breakfast was not included in my package deal and it was 8 euros per person.

Blood on the sheets
We arrived in late on the Sunday after a long trip. As we pulled the sheets back to our horror we saw blood stains all over the sheets! We reported it to the receptionist who to her credit changed the sheets and apologised - but that was the end of it as far as the hotel was concerned. There was no message from the manager, no explanation as to what happened, no attempt to make amends much less any offer of compensation. The breakfast room is small and cramped, the buffet basic and the staff unhelpful. They never cleared the tables! Our room on the top floor was small and dark. I would certainly not recommend this hotel to anyone when there are so many others in the city to choose from.
