The friendliest and most helpful staff and a lovely room. It was a joy to stay here before starting my Camino. Thank you for everything.

The owner went out of his way to offer helpful information about restaurants and directions. He also carried my bag to room! And when I stopped in briefly and sat in the lobby, he offered me cold waters! The room was cozy, luxurious, and clean. I highly recommend this centrally located hotel.
Our room was lovely with a beautiful view. What made our experience particularly enjoyable was Jose who worked the front desk. He was very nice and came running up the stairs when he heard me stumble and spill a coffee. He even offered to go buy me another one which was very kind. And he arranged a taxi for us and helped with our bags. It was so nice to meet him and he made our stay so enjoyable and memorable.
I really enjoyed my stay at this property, the staff were so kind and very helpful. The property is situated in the old town, very near the cathedral. The room was pretty with a balcony and lots of nice little touches like chargers and a bedside lamp and a good shower. The streets outside can be noisy at night, but that didn't bother me is I am a heavy sleeper, but if you are a light sleeper take ear plugs.
This is a great location however, if you have a room facing the street be prepared for loud revelers until early morning! The spiral staircase to access the rooms is very difficult to get luggage up and down. The staff was very helpful.
Spent 2 nights at the end of the Camino at the Balconada. While the rooms are small the location can't be beat, just around the corner from the cathedral. The hotel was very helpful with recommendations and ordered a taxi for us to get to the airport. Would definitely come back!
It’s a nice quiet little pension house just steps from the Cathedral. Those with issues might find the stairs to get to the room difficult to negotiate. We did not have a problem. Beds were so comfortable especially after our Camino. The lobby and sitting area on the first floor are so cute! I would definitely stay here whenever I’m in the area.
This property is within 5 minutes of the Cathedral and plaza! Close and convenient to food, historical sites, and laundry. The staff were very kind and helpful and they had the most comfortable beds we had slept in across Spain! The one warning I would give is that like most European hotels, there is not an elevator. Fantastic location!!
It's literally right around the corner from the cathedral. Christina was friendly and super helpful. We were staying for 3 nights. The original room was a bit small for relaxing and working. They moved us to a bigger room. (Which didn't have a balcony) which was more comfortable for the 2 of us just hanging out enjoying Spain!

We really enjoyed staying at this property. The hotel itself is full of charm and personality. We stayed in a room with a balcony, and we loved it. The employees are very kind and there were umbrellas for us to borrow in the rain. We would absolutely stay here again. The location was amazing with the main cathedral very, very close and good food and shopping options all around.
Our main gripe with the place is that we struggled sleeping. The toilet in the room was making a lot of noise at random times. The windows and door are not very sound proof and we could hear conversations on the street outside and in the hallways of the hotel. Make sure you bring earplugs.
We loved it here—stayed for one night and it as just what we needed and wanted. The owner was very nice and we will absolutely stay here again in the future! Thank you!!
The Casa da Balconada is a cute, boutique-like small hotel. Everything is clean to the detail, and the rooms are beautifully set. I had a room with a balcony, and great views of the cathedral. The staff is polite and supportive.
Perfect for staying in a peaceful environment and, at the same time, very convenient to explore restaurants, historic places, religious monuments.
